Tohoku Region West Coast CCS initiative, proposed by Itochu, Nippon Steel, Taiheiyo Cement, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), Inpex, Taisei and Itochu Oil Exploration, has been selected by JOGMEC to conduct engineering design work for Japanese advanced CCS project.
